NYC Parks site says this event in Jan 12 and 13. Can someone confirm? http://www.nycgovparks.org/highlights/festivals/mulchfest

According to the Cobble Hill Association, the tree-chipping event in Cobble Hill Park will take place tomorrow—one week earlier than mulchfest. Residents can also put their trees out on the curb at any time for pickup by the Sanitation Department and it will be mulched as well, but used in parks instead of for personal use. Then there will be mulchfest on Jan. 12-13. So, you have multiple opportunities. The more, the mulchier.
