Brooklyn, NY: Roulette presents three nights of new music by master musician, improviser, and composer William Parker February 14, 15 & 16. Parker emerged out of the 20 century as one of the most prolific and influential improvisers/composers/bassists whose work has infiltrated not only the avant-garde jazz scene but mainstream music in general. It is clear that in the 21st century he has cemented his legacy as one of the strongest voices in music history. For this extraordinary three night engagement, Parker will be touching on his past successes with the pervasive drummer Milford Graves and also presenting a collection of new work with a host of stand-out musicians.
