At Take Root our classes will cover both the physical and emotional practice of yoga and simple meditation techniques in a setting comfortable and suitable for children. Though every class is a bit different, each one is designed to engage the children by using creative and useful tools, including music, art and cooperative games. Yoga can encourage self-esteem and body awareness with physical activity that is not competitive. It allows children to connect with themselves, one another, and the natural world that surrounds them.
