Columbia Street Volunteer Spring Planting

Attention: All Garden Enthusiasts. Volunteers

Needed to Spring into Action!



Brooklyn Greenway Initiative is looking for 30+ high energy, self-directed garden enthusiasts to help

prep and seed a newly expanded segment of the Greenway on Columbia Street.

Tasks will include spreading compost, laying seed, and covering seeded area

with jute mats. Pizza is on us to keep you going! We love the little ones, but

adults only please for this project.


When: Sunday, April 27th, 10:00am- 3:00pm; arrive by

9:45am for instructions


Where: Meet at 153 Columbia Street  storefront

between Kane and DeGraw Streets


RAIN DATE: all volunteers will be emailed at 8am the

day of the program IF the program should be cancelled due to inclement weather.
