Join us on May 8th for A Taste of Tuscany, a charitable wine tasting event at La Soffitta, a plush wine lounge inside Gild Hall, a Wall Street hotel. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Easter Seals of New York, an incredible non-profit organization that offers a variety of services to help people with disabilities address life's challenges and achieve personal goals.
About the Event:
La Soffitta is a gorgeous private wine lounge inside Felice Ristorante at Gild Hall (A Thompson Hotel property). Owner and wine buyer, Jacopo Giustiniani, has created a restaurant and bar that reflects the soul of Italy, inspired by the sophisticated streets of Florence and the rustic warmth of the Tuscan countryside. Jacopo and his family own a winery in Tuscany called Fattoria Sardi and a number of his stunning wines grace the wine list at Felice and La Soffitta. At this special event, you will have the opportunity to taste 5 of his wines and hear from Jacopo himself the story behind his family's business and their passion for winemaking in their home of Tuscany. All 5 wines will be available by the glass on the open bar in addition to Prosecco and a selection of imported and domestic beer.
