What Did You Think Of GoogaMooga?

Before its last-minute cancellation on the third day of festivities, the GoogaMooga food and music festival in Prospect Park this weekend appeared to have planned for every possible logistical challenge.

Friday and Saturday attendees reported short lines, full bellies and good tunes--a triumph over last year's long waits and food shortages.

But after organizers and park officials deemed Sunday's stormy conditions unsafe to the grounds and cancelled Day Three, participating restaurant owners and festival-goers alike were left with time lost, countless perishables wasted and a sour after-taste.

Superfly Presents, the event organizer, has already vowed to refund ticket holders and to work with vendors who suffered a profit loss. But the future of the young festival is now uncertain.

Did you go to The Great GoogaMooga? What did you experience? And where would you suggest the fest take place, if not Prospect Park?
