Super Bowl XLVII Parties: Where To Watch

Game-day menus, drink specials and other fun activities abound in Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and beyond.

In four days the San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Baltimore Ravens and all across America sports fans will gather to gawk at Beyoncé's halftime performance, critique the commercials and gorge on grub.

Earlier this week we ran a list of area establishments offering catering as well as a couple of recipes. But if you'd rather rock out and let your jock out in public, here is a list of local bars planning to party:

Angry Wade's - On game days the bar typically serves homemade brats, and hot dogs and chicken from Los Paisanos. But on Super Bowl Sunday there will be an all-you-can-eat menu with barbecue turkey, pulled pork, roast beef sandwiches and bratwursts from Wisconsin. The cost: $50 for men and $35 for women. Wade's opens at noon, and til 3 p.m., well drinks and drafts are $1 off.

The Bell House - Select $5 pints as well as $6 themed cocktails such as the Harbaugh Walbanger (a special harvey walbanger), San Fran Shuffle (Sailor Jerry and Rootbeer), Ravens Rye (Old Overholt Rye with ginger beer) are just a few of the treats being offered by event planners at this Gowanus space. The pre-game will begin at 5:30 p.m., kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Go for the big screens and food provided by Urban Rustic.

Brooklyn Crab - The game will be played on all 3 HD TV's "with the sound cranked up to make sure you wont miss a thing!" Expect: $1 Oysters, $1 Clams, $.75 wings, $3 Narragansett Drafts, $4 Mixed Well Drinks, $10 buckets of Bud, Budlight, Miller High Life or Labatt Blue. According to owners, all specials will run from Kick-off until the end of the game. Brooklyn Crab is accepting reservations for parties of 4 or more at the bar, email events@brooklyncrab.com

Buschenschank - Starting at 5 p.m., this German beer hall will be bringing in HD TV's especially for the event. Football snack foods such as hot wings will be on offer, as well as their signature fresh pretzels with bier cheese and South Brooklyn Pizza. "There will be drink specials, plus open bar packages available for large groups," says a rep. Reservations are being accepted for 8 or more.

Canal Bar - Considered by many to be one of South Brooklyn’s best spots to catch a game, Canal serves "Chicago style" hot dogs as well as $10 buckets of beer. Bloody Mary's in a pint glass are just $5.

Cody's Bar and Grill - One of the neighborhood's classic sports bars, this is a no-frills affair. Come if you're serious about the game and could care less about the accoutrements.

PJ Hanley's Tavern - PJ's, pitchers and South Brooklyn Pizza on standby? Sounds like a Carroll Gardens tradition to us... Expect it to be mobbed!
