Snow Report!

Service updates

The snow has stopped, but it still might affect your day. Take a look at our round-up of service advisories and regulation changes for the day.

  • Public schools are open today.
  • There is a Hazardous Travel Advisory in effect for this morning. Expects some bridge and other road closures for snow removal.
  • There will be snow-related delays on buses, but subway riders should be largely unaffected by the snow.
  • Alternate side parking is suspended, but parking meters are still in effect.
  • Garbage and recycling should continue, but with delays.
  • The LIRR and Metro-North are both running on schedule. NJ Transit is running with some short delays.

The city recommends using public transportation and avoiding roads after the storm. If you must get in the car, check Roadify for updates on local traffic and road closures.
