NYPD Searches For Smith St. Hustlers

The NYPD is requesting the public's assistance in tracking down two suspects wanted for a robbery on Smith Street.

According to police reports, on Friday, June 14, at 3:05 a.m., a 34-year-old man was walking north bound on Smith Street, near Atlantic Avenue, when he was approached by an unknown woman who asked him for spare change. He obliged.

But the woman followed him and continued to ask for more change. Then when the man approached Warren Street, another unknown individual armed with a gun, "approached him from behind and made him walk in front of 197 Smith Street, where both suspects ordered him on his knees."

The crooks then proceeded to go through the victim's pockets, removing his Verge Cell phone and an undetermined amount of money before fleeing.

Wanted are Marcia Richard, age 43, standing approximately 5'7" and weighing 145 pounds, and Dorian Steeley, 28, standing 5'6' and weighing 185 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to this robbery, or the whereabouts of either suspect, is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
