Libertador Opens on Henry Street

Cobble Hill has a new Argentine steakhouse.

After months of construction, a new Argentine restaurant has emerged from a long-dormant restaurant space in Cobble Hill.

The brown craft paper was finally peeled back from the storefront windows at 158 Baltic Street, at the corner of Henry Street, to reveal: Libertador, a sister restaurant to an establishment by the same name on 2nd Avenue on the Upper East Side.

"There is a big sign on the wall on the left as you face the restaurant saying LIBERTADOR," tipped local Chris Morgan on the newly opened Cobble Hill outpost.

Brownstoner also reported a lovely interior.

Attempts to connect with the owners were unsuccessful on Thursday, but the menu offers a selection of Argentinian steakhouse fare, including grilled meats and homemade pastas.
