Last Chance: CB6 Meeting on Carroll Gardens Homeless Shelter

Community members will meet to voice their questions and concerns on Wednesday night.


If you've been following the latest news stories regarding the arrival of a proposed homeless shelter at 165 W. 9 Street in Carroll Gardens, you may have some questions or some concerns

Tonight a presentation and discussion with representatives of the Department of Homeless Services and Housing Solutions USA, a non-profit social service organization, will be hosted by Community Board 6 members to give residents an opportunity to chime in on various issues surrounding the project.

Some elected officials released statements expressing their stance on the subject last week, while other neighbors have created an online petition asking for input on the shelter.

The meeting will be held at , at 6:30 p.m.
