Heat Advisory in Effect Monday

Stay indoors and drink plenty of water.

Monday is going to be another hot day.

The National Weather Advisory has issued a heat advisory that will be in effect from 2 to 6 p.m. Excessive heat and humidity will bring the heat index to around 97 degrees.

Potential people impacted include children, the elderly and the sick, so be sure to check in on neighbors and to try and stay indoors if you can.

To stay cool, wear loose fitting clothing, drink plenty of water and take frequent breaks if working outside or doing any strenuous activities.
