Fallen Trees Block Streets, Uproot Sidewalks Throughout Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill

Morning photos have begun to trickle in documenting the aftermath. How does your block look?

As morning sunlight revealed the extent of damages Sandy wrought across Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill, photos from neighbors have begun to trickle in to Patch revealing blocked streets, broken paths and trapped cars.

Here, Yigal Rechtman has shared images of a large fallen tree along 4th Place between Court and Clinton Streets, whose roots have torn up the sidewalk and damaged multiple vehicles.

"Several cars have minor damage," Rechtman tell us. "Dents, broken window. Nothing critical."

Is there a downed tree on your block? Send pictures of the scene to Carroll Gardens Patch @CarrollGPatch or upload them directly to the gallery attached to this story.

Good god, she's been here forever! Just say no thanks and move on. She's harmless.
