Escaped Prisoner From 84th Precinct Apprehended at Mother's House

The suspect had been in custody on drug charges, according to police.


An escaped prisoner from within the 84 Precinct was apprehended on Thursday evening after evading officers for roughly six hours, according to cops.

On Thursday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m., a suspect escaped from Kings County Criminal Court, located at 120 Schermerhorn Street, said police. 

The suspect was identified by NYPD officials as Corpus Hernandez, a Hispanic male, aged 17, with black hair and "Maria" tattooed on his neck.

He had been held in custody on drug charges before he escaped from the 84th Precinct, which covers Boerum Hill, said police.

Six hours later at 10:24 p.m. on Thursday, Hernandez was apprehended at his mother's house, located in the 67th Precinct, police said.
