Families will gather at Carroll Park Saturday evening to observe a moment of silence.
A candle lighting ceremony will be held in Carroll Park this evening in honor of two children who were tragically slain on the Upper West Side on Thursday.
Six-year-old Lucia and 3-year-old Leo Krim were allegedly stabbed to death by their nanny, Yoselyn Ortega, before she attempted to kill herself, according to the New York Daily News.

As a show of sympathy, Carroll Gardens resident Sandrine D'Andrea has organized a vigil to take place this evening, Saturday, October 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Neighbors are invited to gather in front of the Carroll Gardens monument inside Carroll Park "to show our love and support to the Krim family, who have lost their siblings and children in a terrible tragedy," D'Andrea writes. "Please arrive with a white candle while we'll have a moment of silence in their honor."
