Brooklyn Pies To Bring Home For Thanksgiving

Where to reserve your apple pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and more.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's just about time to solidify your menu—or at least what you plan to bring to whichever gluttonous spread you're attending.

One thing's for sure, you can never go wrong with pie. From pumpkin to apple, pecan and lemon meringue, there's something about fruit filling a graham-cracker crust that just feels right this time of year.

Lucky for you, one of the boons of food-obsessed Brooklyn is that there are plenty of local bakeries and restaurants still accepting pre-orders for 10-inch rounds. The following is a list of local haunts, their wares and any known deadlines for ordering.

$50.00 a pie is absurd. Don't forget the Grand Army Farmers Market. They were available last year the day before Thanksgiving.

Wow, so many offerings of key lime pie. What gives?
Amy Sara Clark November 16, 2012 at 02:43 PM
Key lime must be trendy right now.

Steve, Please keep me apprised of when you resume business and if there are any ways that neighbors can help in the meantime! Your wonderful pies are missed from this list.

Key Lime Pie is one of those classic pies; it's right up there with coconut custard and, of course, Lemon Meringue. It not just a trend.

There's only one place to get key lime pie in Brooklyn. Hope you're back up and running soon steve. We have an army of hungry pie lovers ready to march down and buy 'em as quick as you can make 'em :)

You have a list on pies and don't have anything on Court Pasty? Grain Pie from Court Pasty is tops.
