Boerum Hill Spa Collecting Donations For Red Hook

After being without power, phone and internet for days, Bond St.'s Tres Belle Spa will reopen Friday—and wants you to help them help those in need.

Just about everyone in Brooklyn could use a spa treatment after suffering through the stress and chaos that Sandy wrought. But what if you could combine your pampering with some feel-good philanthropy?

After being closed all week due to power outages, Tres Belle Spa in Boerum Hill will reopen on Friday, November 2, and is asking friends and customers to swing by with bags filled with non-perishable foods for our Red Hook neighbors.

Each bag will be rewarded with a 20% off VIP card, usable on any future treatment.

"Come on by tomorrow and help get the ball rolling," writes owner Allison Tray.

Tres Belle Spa will then facilitate bringing the bags to those suffering losses. Donations will be accepted all month long. So if you want to help but have yet to find a way to do so, here's one more way you can get involved.

Stay kind, Brooklyn.
