5 Things: Zombies On Stage, Green Juice at the Greenmarket

The things you need to know to get up and at 'em this weekend.

1. Peruse your children's educational options. Come meet representatives from more than 50 charter schools located in Brooklyn at the charter school fair this Saturday at 10 a.m. at 510 Waverly Ave. Hosted by the New York City Charter School Center, a non-profit organization providing support to NYC's charter school sector, parents can learn about the public school options available in their neighborhood.

2. Be entertained by the undead. Zombies: they're everywhere these days. From the Walking Dead to Warm Bodies, people can't seem to get enough of them, and if you're looking to get your living dead fix, catch All I Ever Really Wanted to Know I Learned From Being a Zombie, a local play by Jason Pizzarello. Suitable for kids and families, check out the play at 2 p.m. this Saturday at the Irondale Center at 85 S Oxford St. $5 per ticket, or free for Irondale Members.

3. Shop to a beat. The Gowanus Nite Market is open this Saturday from 7 p.m.-2 a.m., and featuring vendors, bands, shuffleboard and sponsored items by Film Biz Recycling. Come for the loot but stay for the party as a DJ will be spinning all night. 61 9th St., Loft C8.

4. Eat well. In honor of National Nutrition Month and Women's History Month, the Carroll Gardens Greenmarket will be sharing recipes at the information tent that are both healthy and created by "leading women of the locavore food world, including Alex Guarnaschelli (NYC's Next Iron Chef Winner), Alice Waters (Chez Panisse and Edible Schoolyard) and Stephanie Alexander (Seersucker Pastry Chef)." Plus, on Sunday the team will whip up green juices to celebrate St. Patty's Day using market kale, carrots, beets and apples.

5. Move your car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today.
