5 Things: Nor'easter Edition

What you need to know about the impending storm, pre-coffee.

1. As you may already know, the National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning as the storm heads to the tri-state area. The impending blizzard is forecasted to dump 10 to 14 inches of snow from Friday through Sunday, with wind blowing north at 15 to 25 mph, and gusts up to 45 mph. Patch will be bringing you updates throughout the day and the storm, so stay with us.

2. The Queens Midtown Tunnel closure planned for this weekend is cancelled because of the expected snowstorm, as is Friday’s midnight to 5 a.m. closure at the Robert F. Kennedy Harlem River Lift Span, otherwise known as the Triborough Bridge.
