Do you like sweets?
Although i'm usually attracted to savory desserts, at even the sweetest desserts are also savory.
The salted honey pie, for example, was so sweet my head rushed as if I were a teenager. But the sugar was masked by shreds of the saltiest salt, lightly dusting the top of the sugary concoction, and the crust was buttery and light. While eating a pie made up of such yin and yang, it's easy to forget that you're really piling on the sugar, which can result in a sugar high.
I myself spent the rest of the late afternoon and early evening coasting along, at a quick clip.
And why not?
