After on the future opening of Other Half Brewery at 195 Centre Street between Smith Street and Hamilton Avenue, a flurry of comments came from residents curious as to whether the business will include a tasting room or bar area, and who in fact is behind the brew?

At least one commenter and an anonymous source has asserted that three men are behind the operation: Samuel Richardson of Kelso joined by Matt Monahan and Andy Burman of .

Mandy's Healthy Cafe and Juice Bar Closes

According to a reliable tipster, the juice and health-food cafe located at 227 Smith Street, , has closed for good. It was in business for just over a year. Sad news for meat-free neighbors, as this was one of only a handful of local businesses that offered an extensive vegan menu. 

The Brooklyn-French Connection Continues

According to Grub Street, details on Le Grand Fooding's Brooklyn events have been released and a handful of local establishments, including , , , and will be participating in luncheons, campfires, tasting menus and more. Bon!
