Arthur on Smith Launches Lunch Menu This Thursday and Friday

After opening to last month, the new Smith Street seasonal Italian restaurant Arthur on Smith will now offer lunch beginning this Thursday and Friday. Co-owner Colin Barnhart sent Carroll Gardens Patch some of the highlights of the new midday menu, which will include:

  • Pine Hill Farm Lamb Sausage Patty Melt with Black Truffle Mayonnaise
  • Spaghetti Carbonara
  • Grilled Mortadella and Provolone Sandwich
  • Handmade Gnocchi with Sugo di Carne

Color us suddenly starving. "In addition to lunch on Thursday and Friday we are now open both Saturday and Sunday for an egg-heavy brunch," Barnhart reminds.

Brooklyn Crab Baits Free Shuttle Bus Service From Carroll St.

Just in time for summer, Red Hook's newest seafood outpost, Brooklyn Crab, will reportedly be offering a free shuttle service to patrons from the Carroll Street subway stop to their Reed Street location, according to Zagat. A follow-up look at the waterfront shack's Facebook page yielded the following information from owners: "Our shuttle bus service will operate between the hours of 6:00 p.m and 10:00 Sun thru Thursday. And 6:00-11:00 Friday and Saturday." Once it opens, that is. The date when Brooklyn Crab will officially welcome customers has yet to be released.
