Brooklyn Enjoying Boerum Hill's Patron 'Saint' of Beer

Beer shop in Boerum Hill a hit with locals.

St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe opened up just about a month ago in Boerum Hill with the promise of craft beer for all -- and according to many, it has delivered.

The shop, co-owned by four self-proclaimed beer geeks, opened its doors at 533 Atlantic Avenue at the end of August. It specializes in craft beer with 16 rotating beers on tap and is named after the legendary patron saint for brewers.

Since the opening, many have taken to social media to share their thoughts.

Cathy Yoon posted a picture with the caption, "Heaven! The beer store on my block!"

Don B. wrote, "Very friendly service, great beer selection and try the Toasties - Wow!"

On their Facebook page, Lydia Mahida gave it five stars, "Amazing selections and nice decor inside!!! Me being a manhattanite- it's worth taking the 15 min to Brooklyn."
