Bring Home the Bacon Saturday at Pig Island in Red Hook

Pigs invade Red Hook Saturday.

The fourth annual Pig Island is set to take place on Sept. 7 starting at 11:30 a.m. on the Ikea Waterfront in Red Hook. 

All inclusive tickets get you food, wine, beer, cider, live music and more. The fourth annual Pig Island showcases the best of New York State local farmers, chefs, brewers and vintners and a portion of the proceeds going to benefit Value Added Farm.

The event includes over 25 chefs from all five boroughs with pigs from Flying Pigs Farm, Møsfund Mangalitsa, and Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, among others. There will also be local craft beer by Sixpoint, wines from the Finger Lakes region, hard ciders from the Hudson Valley, cooking demonstrations, music all day and prizes. There will even be vegetarian-friendly side stations.
