Blue Marble Is Back—With Free Mini Marbles For 50 Lucky Customers
After a winter 'hibernation,' the Court Street ice cream shop reopens tomorrow.
If the common reaction to ice cream is screaming, expect to hear some shrieks tomorrow afternoon in Cobble Hill. After being closed for weeks on winter vacation, the locally owned shop at 196 Court Street between Wyckoff and Bergen Streets will reopen Saturday, March 3 at noon.
To sweeten the celebration, Blue Marble will be giving away the first 50 mini marbles or soft-serve ice creams to lucky patrons.
"We're really excited about our new soft serve," said general manager Coley Wright. "It's made here in Brooklyn, it's 100% organic, and we have a special flavor—Dutchess County Maple made with Organic Crown Maple Syrup from Dutchess County, New York."
If it still feels too chilly for frozen desserts, you can always grab a cup of fair trade caffeine made from beans roasted at Irving Farm Coffee Company, also located in the Hudson Valley.
