Annual 'Girls Write Now' Oscar Benefit In Carroll Gardens

Dying to get dressed up on Oscar night, but have no place to go? Kill two birds with one stone and throw on a cocktail dress* for a good cause.

On the evening of the Oscar's telecast, Sunday, Feb. 24, 15-year-strong nonprofit Girls Write Now—which pairs at-risk teenage girls with female mentors who are professional writers—will host their annual Oscar Night Benefit at PJ Hanley's in Carroll Gardens.

The details:

  • Tickets are $25 (purchased in advance) Cost includes a drink, light snacks, and a view of the Academy Awards broadcast on multiple TVs around the bar.
