Plus-Size Shop Lee Lee's Valise to Star in TLC Show
The boutique, on Court Street, will be the setting for a new TLC show about plus-size fashion.
Lee Lee’s Valise, on Court Street, will be the focus of a new TLC reality show with a focus on plus-size fashion, according to the Daily Mail.
The report says that the show (which has yet to be named) will be helmed by Stacy London, of What Not to Wear fame, and will feature shop owners Lisa and Jim Dolan as they “steer larger ladies through the daunting waters of plus-sized fashion.”
The owners of Lee Lee’s Valise are no strangers to Stacy London, or to TV cameras in their shop – the boutique was featured on two episodes on What Not to Wear.

According to their web site, Lee Lee’s Valise carries sizes 10-28 and hopes to avoid “the condescending attitude that permeates most of the boutiques in the neighborhood who really sneer at anyone bigger than a size 8.”
The New York Post says that the 8-part series is set to debut in May.
