Update: Taste of South Brooklyn Postponed!

Do not go to Cabrini Hall this Sunday.


According to a knowledgeable parish member, the first annual Taste of South Brooklyn hosted by Sacred Hearts-St. Stephen's previously scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed. While the website for the event has not been updated and does not provide a rescheduled date, interested residents are asked to please remain patient until further notice.

From old school pizza parlors to fancy pants hotspots, anyone who lives between Atlantic Avenue, Fourth Avenue, Buttermilk Channel and the East River knows if you want eat well there's no reason to roam far. 

So why not celebrate it?

This weekend, the collective neighborhoods of Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Gowanus and the Columbia Waterfront will flex their culinary muscles at The First Annual Taste of South Brooklyn—a food festival flaunting everything delicious about nearby digs.

The fundraiser will be hosted by Sacred Hearts-St. Stephen's parish on Sunday, April 21, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Cabrini Hall, located at 615 Hicks Street.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and include all you can eat. Beverages are additional. Raffle tickets will be sold on site at $25 each for a chance to win $500-$3,000. Those interested in making larger donations, can contribute on the level of Friend, Sponsor or Underwriter, here.
