Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler Film in Carroll Gardens

Gossip blogs were abuzz on Tuesday with news that comedienne had been spotted strolling through Carroll Gardens in a wedding dress for her role in a new film with actor Paul Rudd, They Came Together, due to be released in 2014.

Poehler plays a small candle shop owner who is about to lose her business to a major corporate developer (Rudd). Other stars attached to the film include Christopher Meloni, Ed Helms and Cobie Smulders. 

Locals told Carroll Gardens Patch that they had witnessed Poehler in the neighborhood since Sunday afternoon, with trucks and crew parked around Ristorante.

On Wednesday the shoot will move on to a three-block stretch of Henry Street between Cranberry and Clark Streets in Brooklyn Heights.
