Lights, Camera, Action on Bergen St.

A feature film, Malorie's Final Score, began shooting at Bergen and Smith Streets Thursday.

Here comes Hollywood. A feature film, Malorie's Final Score, began shooting at the corner of Bergen and Smith Streets on Thursday. Over a quick coffee at across the street from the set, actress Joslyn Jensen told Patch that the crew will be filming through August 12, with the movie expected to debut at festivals in 2013.

Jensen stars in the title role as Malorie Gilman, "a brilliant, but somewhat lost composition student at an elite university in New York City who, after failing to secure her scholarship, infiltrates an exclusive escort network in the city to finance her future studies," according to a description on NYCastings.com.

After having her makeup touched up, Jensen was outfitted with an oversized pink floral bag and began the arduous process of repeated takes, walking up and down the sidewalk as a fake New York City Yellow Cab would pull up alongside her.

Not seen on the set was Heather Maturazzo, perhaps the biggest name attached to the project, who has previously appeared in films such as Scream 3, The Princess Diaries, Welcome to the Dollhouse and Saved.
