Walls and Bridges: An Evening of Music and Storytelling

Walls and Bridges—a program curated by the Villa Gillet and presented by the Conseil de la Création artistique—will present nearly 50 cultural events, combining about 100 speakers and artists, 30 partners and over 20 venues, ranging from the New York Public Library, Joe’s Pub and the Brooklyn Flea to bookstores, universities and various galleries.

The evening of music and storytelling at Invisible Dog will feature: Esther Allen (USA / translator), Jonah Bokaer (USA / choreographer and media artist), Wally Cardona (USA / choreographer and performer), Guilhem Flouzat (France / composer and drummer), Francisco Goldman (USA / novelist), Arnon Grunberg (the Netherlands / novelist), Trajal Harrell (USA / choreographer), Virginia Heffernan (USA / New York Times columnist and critic), Romain Huret (France / historian), Serge Michel (Switzerland / reporter and writer), Ruwen Ogien (France / philosopher), Julia Preston (USA / New York Times journalist), Ned Rothenberg (USA / composer and performer), Dan Safer (USA / choreographer and Witness Relocation artistic director), David Samuels (USA / journalist and non-fiction writer) // Hosted by Rob Spillman (USA / editor and co-founder of Tin House)
