Storytelling on the Radio

In this three-week course, you will learn the basics of how to write for the ear, how to craft a story, read your copy on air, and practical advice on how to pitch your stories so they make air. Participants will begin writing a radio piece so that by the end of the course each student will have some version, finished or not, of their ideal story. There will be an opportunity for you to receive feedback as well as share your thoughts with others. Taught by an instructor who was a producer for NPR's nationally syndicated program "The Connection” and a six-and-a-half-year producer for CNN.
