Please come welcome Mino as he extends his generosity to our neighborhood this week...

Mino is ‘a man of many talents : not content with mastering a formidable array of … percussion instruments, he sings, plays guitar and adds some mellifluous flute passage… Sure, percussion dominates but Cinelu’s music is full of varying textures, colors, atmosphere and sounds.’ [Blues and Soul]

Please visit www.minocinelu.com to learn more about this very special guest. Mino is well-known for his work with Miles Davis, Sting and Weather Report.

Brooklyn Workshop Gallery is a small, intimate space in the middle of Carroll Gardens, a South Brooklyn neighborhood where the old world meets industrial meets the new Brooklyn. We are a semi-collective atelier space dedicated to the celebration of cultural expressions, transparency in our processes, the sharing of our philosophies and a welcome to others with creative ideas. BWG is home to Workshop Gallery Artists Foundation, a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to promote and facilitate the process of keeping traditional art craft alive and vibrant in our world and to encourage the interpretation and expression of such through the individual artisan.

You can see a roster of the artists on the Brooklyn Workshop Gallery FACEBOOK page and more about other art events on the Workshop Gallery Artists Foundation page.
