Christmas Eve Concert and Caroling at Christ Church, Cobble Hill

The Cobble Hill Consort, composed of the Christ Church Choir and the Canoni Chorale, both under the direction of Donald Barnum,  will present a concert and lead caroling at 10:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Saturday, 24th December, at Christ Church, Cobble Hill (Clinton & Kane Streets).  The concert features choral and organ pieces spanning five centuries along with traditional carols of the season. 

For those who wish to stay, the "Midnight Mass" will begin at 11:00 p.m. and will feature Missa Verbum Caro Factum Est of Hans Leo Hassler (1564-1612), together with two twentieth century anthems:  O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen and Verbum Caro Factum Est est by Scot Crandall. 

A Gala Champagne Reception follows this service in the Christ Church Rectory.
