Since 2008, the Desk Set's annual Biblioball has raised funds for Literacy for Incarcerated Teens.
This year, live musical performances curated by Tom Pavlich (of the Great Pumpkin music blog) will feature Brooklyn's Crazy Pills, Baltimore's Raindeer, DJs Marty McSorley, Mikey Post, John XI, and Jimmy T, and special guests. Also performing are supercreator, Jean Loscalzo and her Lady Aerialists, and the Shush...tifying Librarian Dancers. A raffle will be held, awarding prizes from Exhale Spa, Harper Collins, the Strand, Melville House, Rosewater, and more.
Two levels of tickets are available: $45 Leatherbound (which includes 7:30pm hour with free gifts, snacks, and drink specials) or $20 Hardcover.
