Begin with No Intention with Miranda Field

Participants in this Buddhist workshop are expected to have little or no previous experience with creative writing—and no idea what they want to write about. With pen, paper—and no ideas at all—the journey toward poems begins, for poetry is a process of discovery, and, as Gail Sher says, "not knowing assumes that the object of your curiosity is always new and worthy of your attention."
