E.T.A. Hoffmann's whimsical world descends upon BAM for the world premiere of American Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker. This incarnation was choreographed by ABT artist-in-residence Alexei Ratmansky, and Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky's classic score will be performed with a live orchestra. More than 100 dancers will appear, costumed by The Lion King's Tony Award-winning Richard Hudson.
The show runs at 119 minutes with an intermission, and is appropriate for children ages 4 and up.
