BAM's Crossing Brooklyn Ferry Lineup Announced

The three day music and film fest is curated by rock band The National this year.

Brooklyn Academy of Music just announced the headliners for Crossing Brooklyn Ferry, a three-day music and film festival curated by Bryce Dessner and Aaron Dessner of The National, and it’s one that will excite indie music fans.

May 3: The Walkmen and Sharon Van Etten, with Twin Shadow, Jherek Bischoff, Zs, Callers, People Get Ready, yMusic and JACK Quartet.

May 4: St. Vincent and The Antlers, with Tyondai Braxton, Buke and Gase, Sinkane, Ava Luna, Missy Mazzoli and Victoire, NOW Ensemble, Hubble and Joakim.

May 5: Beirut and Atlas Sound, with My Brightest Diamond + yMusic, Caveman, Oneohtrix Point Never, Janka Nabay & the Bubu Gang, Skeletons, Brooklyn Youth Chorus, The Yehudim, Benjamin Lanz  and DJ Set by Pat Mahoney and Nancy Whang (DFA).

In addition, the weekend event features more than 30 bands, songwriters, improvisers, composers, new music ensembles, and filmmakers from the Brooklyn music scene performing and presenting films throughout the BAMcafé, BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, and BAM Rose Cinemas.

Tickets are $45 for each day, or $110 for a three-night Festival Pass. Three-day passes are on sale March 6 (March 5 for Friends of BAM), and single tickets are on sale March 12 (March 8 for Friends of BAM). For more information, check out crossingbrooklynferry.com.
