 Urgent bone marrow drive for NYPD 9/11 heroSteve Bonano, the head of security at the Barclays Center, a Navy veteran and a 30-year veteran of the NYPD, is suffering from a rare form of 9/11 related blood cancer and is in need of a bone marrow transplant. To raise awareness about this disease—and to hopefully find a match to save Steve's life—Forest City Ratner is hosting a bone marrow registry drive this week, Tuesday and Wednesday May 7- 8 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 345 Jay Street.
