"You Said It:" Locals Love "Moonstruck"

We hit the streets to see what Carroll Gardeners think

We took our camera to the streets to find out what movies shot in Brooklyn are local favorites. Perhaps not surprisingly, most of the folks we talked to kept it local, choosing Moonstruck, which starred Cher and was shot at the old Cammareri Bakery on Union Street. (Now )

There's an old Cary Grant classic "Arsenic and Old Lace", and 100s ranging from Woody Allen and Jack Nicholson's "Prittzi's Honor" and "As Good As It Gets" - to "Beast From 20,000 Fathoms". But my favorite wasn't notable for being all that great a movie.. it did however have Jennifer Anniston as a PS 58 school teacher that lived across from Carroll Park. http://www.imdb.com/media/rm104306688/tt0120772
