What Should Be Done With the Carroll Gardens "Hell Building"?

Rumors continue to swirl around controversial Carroll Gardens building.

The building at 333 Carroll Street, a warehouse which first began its conversion to apartments all the way back in 2005, has been a point of contention in the community for years.

According to Brownstoner.com, the issues arose when Developer Isaac Fishman erected an illegal 40-foot steel addition to the top of the building. The addition helped earn the nickname, the 'Hell Building.'

Brownstoner.com also reported Wednesday that there's a possibility the building, which has undergone work since the addition came down in 2011, could be torn down to combine the lot with Regency Carts Hotel next door. Click here for the full report on Brownstoner.com.

What would you like to see done with the building? After so long, should it be fully developed and rented out? Or would you like to see the 'hell building' just torn down altogether? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
