Update on 16 Sycamores Playground

The comfort station should reopen by the end of June.

For those anxiously awaiting completion of the , a small pocket park on the corner of Schermerhorn Street and Third Avenue, Boerum Hill Association (BHA)  expects at least one phase to be complete in time for summer: the comfort station.

"Renovation of the comfort station may be complete by the end of June," said Kolins in a telephone interview. "Renovation of playground equipment itself, could potentially be completed by the end of this calendar year. We're hoping that it proceeds quickly but things often come up when these sorts of projects are undertaken."

The park renovations are part of as much of Boerum Hill as possible. Funding and support has been provided in part by Borough President Marty Markowitz, the Parks Department, former Councilmember David Yassky and current Councilmember Steve Levin.
