Broken Tree Limbs Brought Down By Storm On Wyckoff Street

Boerum Hill experienced several broken tree limbs as a result of heavy winds and rain early Saturday morning.

Heavy winds and rain brought down several tree branches along Wyckoff Street between Smith and Hoyt streets early Saturday morning.

"My wife thought it was an earthquake tremor, the force of them coming down was that strong," said Anthony Rainone, a Boerum Hill resident who documented the aftermath. "The police closed off our block."

Rainone took a handful of photos of the felled branches which he uploaded to Carroll Gardens Patch and are posted here in the gallery.
