On Friday, April 6, hundreds of parishoners gathered at  on Hicks Street. As a funeral band played softly in front, the crowd solemnly walked the streets of Carroll Gardens, dressed in black, singing Italian hymns and mourning the death of Jesus Christ of Good Friday.
