Runner & Stone Offer Sneak Peek Before Opening

According to their Facebook page, soon-to-open Gowanus bakery/restaurant Runner & Stone will be participating in Open House New York this weekend on Saturday, October 6 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Come by for a sneak peek of the restaurant and tours given by the architects every half hour," wrote owners, adding, "and of course there will be a little something to eat."

Construction Worker Says Argentine Steakhouse Coming to Cobble Hill

The restaurant space under construction at the corner of Henry and Baltic may soon be home to Argentine cuisine, according to a tipster on Cobble Hill Blog.

"I peeked inside and spoke to one of the workers," the reader wrote. "Inside was very quaint and nearly completed. They were just doing the wiring and computer system. The worker told me that it was slated to open in early October as an Argentine steakhouse."
