Rescue Kitties 'Elsie, Lester, Lilly, Marcus, and Moo-Moo' Need a Home

Welcome to Friday Feline, a recurring column in which we spotlight a local rescue in need of a home. If you're looking for a low-maintenance animal that has already received most of its immunizations and tests, this is the place for you.

This week's subjects are: Elsie, Lester, Lilly, Marcus and Moo-Moo

"These angels were all found in Bed Stuy. Elsie, the mom, is so sweet and adorable," said C. Corey, one of five founders of Brooklyn Animal Action who rescues felines and coordinates adoptions in Carroll Gardens. "Hard to believe anyone would leave these angels to the elements."

Let's meet the furry family:

The young mom, Elsie, a black and white tuxedo cat, is "very sweet and so easy to love," said Corey, noting that this would be good with children and other pets.

Lester (brown male tabby) is a friendly, playful and "brings tons of love and energy to the home."; Lilly (brown female tabby), is an independent spirit who "has class and poise and is a wonderful little girl."; Marcus (black and white male) is "a bold and curious guy, the leader of the pack," said Corey about the high energy kitty; and then there's Moo-Moo (black and white male), who is described as "the most lovable, sweet, affectionate little boy."
