Peek Inside Glamour Mag Editor's Cobble Hill Home

Editor in chief Cindi Leive's three-story townhouse was recently profiled in The New York Times.

Yet another glamorous Cobble Hill townhouse was given the spotlight this week in a New York Times profile. In fact, the three-story home belongs to Glamour magazine editor in chief Cindi Leive and her husband Howard Bernstein, a film producer.

After living in a SoHo loft for ten years, the couple decided to move to Brooklyn when Leive became pregnant with their second child, according to the article. Upon finding the townhouse, they were attracted to its outdoor space and "soaring ceilings" but would devote a year to renovating other aspects of the space that needed to be upgraded.

The result, featured in a slideshow on The New York Times website, is a spacious abode filled with midcentury modern furnishings, "a grand piano that Ms. Leive had inherited from her parents. Also, lots of art, like a large cityscape photograph by Michael Wolf and a Vik Muniz painting of Cupid and Venus surrounded by junk."
