Your heart receives an awful lot of attention on Valentine’s Day, but be sure not to neglect your stomach. Champagne and chocolate bon bons will hold you over for only so long. Grab your special someone and head over to one of these local eateries, where romance isn’t the only thing on the menu.

After squeezing into a vintage church pew at this American eatery, you and your sweetheart can dig into one of four entrées: a trio of duck, a duo of beef, roasted wild halibut or butter-poached lobster. The special three-course prix fixe dinner also includes a champagne toast and a choice of four appetizers and three desserts.

's Classic New York Valentine’s Day Dinner 

Get a taste of retro romance with what this Italian restaurant calls its “Classic New York Valentine’s Day dinner.” The five-course prix fixe meal includes Big Apple-themed starters like oysters Rockefeller and Manhattan clam chowder. The menu also offers two choices of pasta for the third course and the option of either duck or lobster for the main dish.

The Valentine’s Day menu at this bold French bistro starts with an amuse bouche of lobster toast and ends with “sweet satiation” of white chocolate mousse, apple strudel or corn tequila crème brulee. In between you can select one of four first taste options and opt for grilled black Atlantic angus filet mignon, Jolie duo margquet fish, seared American red snapper or roast organic chicken breast for your second taste.

Plus, every couple receives a complimentary bottle of wine. Opa!

For late-night romance and a midnight meal, head over to this renovated apartment space for the special Valentine's Day menu. Apartment 138 (open until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday) offers a three-course meal, with three appetizer options, a choice of lamb, filet mignon or halibut for an entrée, topped off with hibiscus semifreddo.

’s A Night in Venice Candlelight Dinner

In addition to offering patrons a special four-course menu that includes favorites like veal scaloppine, homemade ravioli and traditional risotto, this classic Italian eatery is adding an extra twist: the restaurant will be covered with candles and the staff will be dressed up as gondoliere.
