Michelle Williams Spotted Being Romantic At Frankies

The actress was reportedly having dinner with Jason Segel.

Boerum Hill resident and Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain; My Week With Marilyn) was seen snuggling up to Jason Segel (I Love You, Man) at popular Italian restaurant this weekend, Us Weekly reported.

According to the celebrity magazine, the couple shared a table for dinner on Saturday night and were later spotted walking around the neighborhood with Williams' 6-year-old daughter Matilda.

The couple was apparently introduced by mutual friend Busy Phillips, who appears on Cougar Town.

Ms Williams did not win an academy award.

Thank you for catching that mistake! In fact, Michelle Williams won the Golden Globe for "My Week With Marilyn" and was nominated for an Oscar three times.

Ms. Prisco, I do not read anywhere that you mention that Ms. Williams won an academy award..you state Oscar nominated. And, yes nominated several times. Has the reading ability in Carroll Gardens diminished as much as the decency to allow celebrated people their privacy

Not at all, Anonymous. But thank you for defending my post. In fact, I corrected the word "winning" to "nominated" after Miranda B caught the error. (Perhaps the mistake betrayed a certain wishful thinking on my part.) As far as the privacy of celebrities, Carroll Gardens Patch strives to strike a balance between sharing in the excitement of a star sighting without disrupting the lives of bold-faced names.

I too wish Ms. Williams to be a winner. I know her personally and know that she is a lovely but private person. Her sorrow was played out in public, can't we just let her have some joy without spreading the word. There were numerous stories of Norah Jones windows, Gyllenhall sightings and now Sarah Jessica Parker. Let's welcome them as part of a community and let the papparazi ruin their day..not their neighbors..asking for sightings reports is in poor taste. Please don't encourage such nonsense...thank you

Thank you for your response, Anonymous. I truly appreciate the feedback. If there are particular types of stories that you would like to see more of instead, I would love to hear suggestions from you and all Carroll Gardens Patch readers. As a website, we can constantly evolve and change to meet the community's needs and wants!

Thank you for being so open to the neighborhood needs..I champion the cause of the elderly in the neighborhood. The loss of bus service. The need for better tenancy and good landlording. Why ask for the worst landlord, how about lauding the best. How would the idea of a cookbook from the old timers and updates to the receipes to lower, healthier options. A yin and yang receipe..more community meetings involving the police in the area...there are reports of attacks and thefts on the rise...get the precinct to get out the word and provide better protection. Celebrities can be read about in magazines...Caring , involved neighbors..now that should be celebrated...thanks for opening the door...

These are fantastic ideas, Anonymous. I intend to pursue all of them and especially like your thinking on tenancy and landlords coverage. In the meantime, the monthly general meeting at the 76 Precinct takes place the first Tuesday of every month and I always attend. I will report back next week and be sure to keep the local crime reports coming. Thank you, again.
