Final collections are being held Tuesday and Wednesday inside Carroll Park.

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Carroll Gardens Patch regularly posts quick reminders about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.
Today the deadline is looming to help City Harvest collect donations to feed food-challenged New Yorkers. Canned fruits and vegetables, peanut butter, packaged macaroni and cheese as well as boxed cereal is being accepted at the Robert Acito Park House insde Carroll Park Tuesday, July 24 and Wednesday, July 25 between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
